The Independent Study program embraces the general philosophy of Cedar Park Christian Schools, addressing education from the mission of creating opportunities for people to be changed by the Good News of Jesus Christ. The Independent Study Program serves homeschool students from grades K-12. Our students receive teaching and/or advising from caring, certified, Christian teachers who work according to a student’s specific need. An individualized curriculum is tailored to meet the needs and interests of each student. Our IS students complete a program which satisfies the state graduation requirements and oftentimes extends beyond those expectations. Upon graduation Independent Study students earn an accredited diploma and transcript which is accepted by all universities.
Thank you for expressing interest in serving! Signing up for an opportunity lets the ministry know you'd like to be considered. Ministry leaders review volunteers based on the needs of their ministry, available openings, and the gifts, experience, and availability of each volunteer. They will contact you if there's an opportunity that's a good fit. Please note that signing up for an opportunity does not automatically place you in that role, and some ministries may have additional requirements or training before volunteers begin serving.
